National lockdown forces second closure this year

Last night Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a second national lockdown for England in order to to prevent a 'medical and moral disaster for our NHS. Pubs, restaurants, gyms and non-essential shops will have to close for four weeks from this Thursday, 5th November he said.

We shall be open for diners on Wednesday 4th from six o'clock with last orders at eight thirty before closing for both diners and hotel guests until at least Wednesday 2nd December. We would expect to hear further news about when we may be able to reopen, and under what specific constaints towards the end of November, at which time we shall post further information.

Meantime, thank you all for your custom and support and we hope to see you again in December.
